Wild Cat RolePlay

Okay I decided to start up another little mini-RP. It is here you can Roleplay any Big cat you like. But I am going to post some restrictions upon it. Firstly you can be any big cat you wish, secondly there is only allowed to be one of each species of big cat. For example, there is only to be one of each type (ie; there can be one black leopard and one snow leopard, but nothing as so close to as the different subspecies of tiger, only one tiger). You cannot role-play here as a house-cat or a feral cat, the cat you role-play must be wild, and therefore undomesticated. Because of this second point I think it may be more fun, even though some of you will be going 'aw someone stole my favourite big cat' let me tell you that there are many types of big cats and all of them are awesome indeed. Species: Siberian Tiger
Name: Lykaios
Age: Four Years
General Appearance: A very light orange almost gold coloured tiger with a lot of white, whilst broken with darker brown stripes.
Size: 3.3 meters long, making him the largest to the set scale for tigers (nose to tail tip), he is almost 120cm tall. Lykaios weighs approximately 270kgs making him at a moderate weight for his size.
Personality: Lykaios isn't interested in dealings with others. He simple and generally only cares for himself, and will push anyone out of his way when need be. He doesn't care about the risks in taking risks. All over he is a chilled out, lone kind of guy.

Lykaios wandered through the forest, his huge and well cushioned paws silenced his movements through the forest. His almost golden coat glimmered yet still managed to camouflage him amongst all the green. He had just come from the small creek and his chin still dripped the remains of the water he had just drunk. He was walking back to his 'home' which consisted of a mere broadly trunked tree. Upon reaching it, he extended his claws and bounded up the side of the tree with ease for such a big creature. He then gracefully walked across a huge branch, it not even swaying at his weight. He soon laid down and draped his long legs over the sides of the branch. Lykaios soon became victim to sleep.

Species: Snow Leopard
Name: Luella (means light)
Age: 5-6 months
General Appearance: Luella looks much like a normal snow leopard of her age, with a coat still very much made of fluff and down and clumsily big paws with a curious face. Her eyes are an ocean blue/green that are often glittering with excitement and curiousity.
Size: Small, only about 30cm at shoulder height and not very long or heavy.
Personality Luella is a curious cub who loves adventures and games. However, despite her fearless and bouncy attitude, she really wishes she had someone to look after her and this feature is even more pronounced when she's tired or hungry, being too young to catch her own food properly.
Additional: Luella is quite young to be on her own as her mother and siblings died not long ago and she struggles to fend for herself.

Luella's oversized paws did little to keep her eager descent quiet as she clambered hasitly down the large rock she had been sitting upon. Her soft smokey grey and black-dappled coat had been nicely warmed on the sun that shone brightly onto the stone and the young snow leopard would have waited atop it longer had she not seen a lizard scurry across the leaf-litter. Her ocean coloured eyes were wide with excitement as she raced after it, paws slipping on the loose leaves and long tail swinging in tow.

After a few moments of noisy chase, Luella finally realised that the lizard had escaped and she slid to a halt, frowning in dissatisfaction as her stomach growled loudly. She sad down hard, pouting a little as she did so. It was a while before the cub got over the disappointment long enough to look around in awe and realise she was in an area she hadn't been before and a mixture of excitement and anxiety washed through her.

General Appearance:
His coat is grey with a reddish-brown tinge of varying intensity, marked with brown lines and blotches. His underside and insides of the limbs are white with large dark spots and he have dark streaks across their faces. His tail has dark rings.
Size:
Body length: 35cm, Tail length: 15cm, Shoulder height: 20cm, Weight: 1.6kg.
Personality
Vipin is a very bold character. Because of his small appearance and large eyes, others often mistake him either for a female or a cutesy and cuddly cat and sometimes used him as a toy. Being one of the smallest wild cats, he has a bit of a Napoleon complex about himself. He sees himself as big as any other wild cat around, and takes no hesitation on making his thoughts known to the one who questions it. Vipin is seemingly fearless, he will usually launch himself head first into any situation; although not without a bit of thought first. He doesn't take gip from anyone and is more than ready to stand up to those who are much larger than him.

Vipin crouched himself down in the brush as his eyes focused intently on the small bird that stood before him; digging around in the damp ground. He smiled to himself as his confidence on catching this bird grew, until the sound of something running about made the creature fly off in haste.

He growled to the air in an angered shout. Immediately his ears shot up and his large eyes began scanning around for the brute who caused the commotion. A sneer came across his face as he spotted a clumsy leopard sitting on the ground. In all force he stormed up to her and scowled, "do you realise what you just did? It took me 2 days to find that bird. TWO DAYS!" He stood looking up at her slightly, waiting for a reply from the female.

Lykaios, even though asleep, still remained alert and his ears twitched slightly to hearing the sound of something not too far from his tree. He opened his eyes ever so slowly and turned his head. Luckily the creature hadn't noticed him yet. It was a black leopard, Lykaios sighed and watched the black pelted creature become excited and trip over. The tiger couldn't help but chuckle deeply at the others misfortune, though it didn't seem to care, Lykaios studied this strange creature, who was invading his territory. His ears flattened and he scowled hearing the shouts of another. Why couldn't the forest just be peaceful?

Vipin narrowed his eyes at the cub as she sunk down on herself and began to make a helpless face at him. He raised a brow at her and stood as high as he could, before he spoke down to her, "don't make that helpless, cute face at me Madam!"

He noted the slight shaking that started and he intensified his look as he backed off a little, "I won't hurt you. There wouldn't be any point on wasting energy," Vipin sat himself down, now having nothing else to since his food had just flown away and most likely alerted any other potential prey in the area as well.

Looking around slightly bored he started to study the female before him. He found it strange that one of her age was alone. The thought of its mother suddenly appearing and ripping him apart did cross his mind, but he assured himself he could take her on with ease. His over-sized eyes continued to run over her, inspecting every visible part of her; his ears perked forwards in full.

General Appearance:
Her fur a mixture and beautiful blend between a foxy red and a golden brown color; however she has a few stripe patterns on her head that are an onyx black. Her eyes are bright, piercing ocher color with rims of a honey gold.

Weight: 32 lbs
Height: approx. 14"
Personality
Lani is understanding and level headed, someone who would always stand for what she believe in. But sometimes to others, Lani could be seen as being exotic and strange, but that in a way made sense with her. Usually she would be quiet but not because she is shy or sad, she is usually quiet because she is thinking, always paying attention to the little things others don't really notice right away. Lani is the perfect balance between solitary and outgoing but sometimes she need a little time to herself to sort out her emotions and figure things out.
Lani has a way of creating wonder wherever she goes and with whomever she meet. It would seem as if she would cast a silent spell over others, making them look twice at what they saw, listen twice to what they heard. Lani would try hard to resist the spell, but she wouldn't even be casting one. She is simply a strange wolf.

Lani placed her paws soundlessly on the soft bracken of the jungle floor. The soft summer afternoon light filters through the boughs of the ancient oaks above her. Small birds twitter in the afternoon light, butterflies flutter through the streams of light. A light breeze dances through the turning leaves above you, whispering words you can't quite decipher.
The scene around her seemed magical, ethereal to her. Her luminous ocher eyes slowly wandered, taking in her surroundings before she lifted her head to the sky. Her delicate nose taking in the various scents of different creatures that inhabited the area.
The scent of other felines caught her attention before shifting to the only scent that she was mainly in focus of searching; water. She silently sauntered through the jungle towards the life giving waters of the river. As she arrived she carefully went to the shallow end as she began to quench her fill, her soft pointy ears flicking back and forth on alert.

Lykaios watched as the black leopard soon disappeared. He gave a sigh of relief and soon realized his boredom before a rumble came from his stomach. Shaking his head and thick neck and got to his paws standing on the branch, picking a spot on the ground, the male leapt down, swiftly and quietly.

Lynwood trudged off into the jungle, at a steady trotting pace. Scenting the air every few steps he soon picked up the scent of a small white-tailed deer. Lowering his body to the ground, Lykaios went into stealth mode as he slowly creepy forth to the small herd of white-tailed deer. Peering through a bush he was able to see the three of them. All were does but still quite rather large and would make a perfect meal for a hungry tiger.

Lykaios came within a few meters of the first one, he licked his lips and thought out his plan well. When he had thought out his plan it was time to attack. The golden tiger moved into a crouched position slowly and got ready to leap. With the power the tiger was so well known for he pounced extending his claws and baring a ferocious snarl with dagger like teeth. The doe with it's quick reflexs turned to run, but it was too late. The tiger had wrapped it's huge jaws around it's fine, elegant neck. All in the hustle, Lykaios hadn't planned his landing and soon was in a tumble with the doe.

The pair tumbled over the small edge and down onto a rock. The rolled well together, though the tiger copped most of the damage, he had his kill and that's all that mattered for now. Once on the rock, the bundle of predator and prey paused before rolling slowly down the rock, only to land in the middle of the snow leopard cub, rusty spotted cat and black leopard. Lykaios gave a groan of displeasure and slowly got to his huge paws. He shook the remains of dirt from his pelt and looked to see what had surrounded him. Drawing a paw he pulled his kill under him and gave a low murmuring growl of warning, that it was his and no-one elses.

Vipin was lost in his own world, he didn't notice the lumbering oaf that came rushing up to him. He only managed to notice her when it was too late; he was caught. Eyes widening even more he let out a hiss and threw his paws around; claws out. He didn't care what he hit, as long as he was let go.

He drew a breath as he was released and dropped to the ground. He fumbled around a little gaining his footing and started his search for his assailant. He pinpointed on to a large black female who proceeded to embrace a tiger. He pinned his ears back and hiss at her, "what do you think you're doing?! You can kill someone like that! Stupid cat."

Vipin turned away and took a few steps towards the bushes. He glared at the others from the corner of his eye while he proceeded to clean his fur from the 'contamination' it just received.

Luella's eyes widened and she let out a little cry of alarm as she was cleanly swept off of her paws and into a great hug with the other male cat. She began to squirm, usually quite open to hugs but very conscious of the danger she was in if a friendly hug was not the intended action. She squeaked again as she landed on the ground with a ligth thud, lost in confusion as at the same time a large male tiger appeared in front of them seemingly out of nowhere with a kill.

Her eyes widened, all previous thoughts disappearing as her mouth began to water at the sight of meat - she had not eaten in so long! Perhaps he has bought it here for me to eat! she thought excitedly, not processing his growl of warning as she was too young to understand it. Ignorant to the black leopard's hugging the tiger and the small cat's attempt at a dignifying retreat, Luella slunk forward.

Within moments she had crept around to the deer, sitting neatly inbetween the tiger's large front paws. Loud purrs began to eminate from her chest as she rubbed her head against the male's forelegs in a loving way, looking up at him with large, adorable, ocean-coloured eyes. "Please mister sir, can I have some meat? I'm awful hungry and surely not even a cat as big as you can finish it all off on your own."

Lykaios' growl continued to rumble until he became choked with a hug and the 'need' to share with this strange group of cats. His eyes widened as he'd never been touched before, well not since a cub. She had proposed that they be friends.

Lykaios let out a harsh growl, a lot louder than the last and muttered "It is a nice kill and its MY kill and no-one elses. I have no friends nor the wish for friends" he pushed the black leopard off of him with ease as he stood en garde over his kill. It was to be his and no one elses. Though he kept standing there, tail swaying behind him. His ears had pinned to the back of his skull as he bared his fangs at the black panther.

"Please mister sir, can I have some meat? I'm awful hungry and surely not even a cat as big as you can finish it all off on your own" said a small voice, it was a baby snow leopard. Lykaios had a soft spot for cubs. He looked around the group and gave a defeated sigh. He regained a normal composure and shook his pelt. "Fine, you may all share the kill with me, but know this is a one and only time I will allow it" he stood back and gave a nod to the others to join in the feed. He started himself by pulling the skin from the carcass and then drew his fangs into the flesh of the dead deer.

Lykaios had just seemed to start eating when he felt something touch his paw. He was about to growl before he realised that it was the young snow leopard cub. "Excuse me mister sir, but could you please get me some meat? I'm not as big an' strong as you and I need some help. Pwretty please?" He gave a slight sigh and drew his fangs to the meat and tore off a piece. He then chewed it up slightly, softening it for the cub. It had been ages since he had come into contact with the small critters, but they were so innocent and helpless. Lykaios was a push over for cubs. He took his fangs to the meat a second time and chewed it up again and gave it to the cub, knowing that she must be hungry.

The small brownish cat however soon caught his attention with a look of disgust all over its face. He tilted his head and spoke gruffly "Whats wrong with you shorty?" he devised after that, that the small cat wasn't really worth his time and went back to consuming his food.

Vipin's face turned to a snarl as he sent a hiss in the male's direction, "who are you calling shorty?!" Standing up and puffing out his chest he glared at the male with a growl, "rich, coming from a such delicate flower as easy walked over as yourself," with a slight grunt in his direction he walked away with a smirk to himself.

Slinking under the bushes with ease, he crept on. His nose picked up on a scent close by, one that must have been watching them this whole time. He was feeling quite bored and needed to let off some energy. Smiling to himself he scanned around the area making sure to be silent in his steps.

Just to his right he spotted another cat, hiding in the bushes, quite young, but a little size over him already; but it didn't matter, size meant nothing. Smiling to himself he crept around so to make her the hunted. Lowering himself in the bushes his large eyes watched her every movement, waiting for the right time to scare her himself.

Jinx had been watching the entire ordeal, mildly amused. She was so interested in the increasing number of wild cats in the area she forgot she wanted to scare them. When the large tiger fell into the group with a kill, she felt that this would probably not be the best time to bother them.

Still, she continued to watch. She was hungry herself but knew that with that number of cats on one doe it wouldn't take long before all of it was gone. She huffed, throwing away the idea all together. She wouldn't want to share anyway. Briefly, she wondered where the smaller cat she saw before was but moved on to her own problems. She was hungry.

She stood, making sure the other cats wouldn't be able to see her from this angle and stretched. Her long legs shook and she shivered, readying herself to hunt.

She sat down, looking around with alert eyes trying to catch sight of a bird or some rodent she could ambush.

Vipin smirked to himself as he still went unnoticed. Wiggling his behind a little and his tail swaying in preparation, he bolted from the bushes and landed just in front of the young cat with a small growl, "gottcha you snoop!" Backing a little he studied the kitten in front of him, sure are enough of them about today. His ears went back as he watched her, half waiting for a reaction and the other losing interest slightly.

His mind wondered a little to the surrounding trees and what they held. But to no surprise everything was in silence with the noise he had just made.

Jinx flinched as the wild cat ran in front of her. She tensed, her ears flicking back instinctively before she actually looked at the cat. Her eyes narrowed and her body relaxed. This cat seemed to be barely any threat at all.

"You realize you just scared away my prey." Jinx frowned angrily, as she glanced at the trees. All of the possible prey were gone and in hiding. She looked back down, glaring at the large-eyed cat. "You have to take responsibility for this."

Without waiting for the other cat to respond, she stood and walked past him, her eyes analyzing him. She walked around him, her short tail curling around her leg. She gave him a cocky smirk and said

"To make up for what you have just done, you will have to catch me to eat." She sat a little ways away from him. "I eat small things...which I'm sure you eat as well." She hid the grin that threatened to show and waited for the other's reaction.

Was Jinx hungry? Yes, very but she really didn't expect the older wild cat to hunt for her. She just wanted to bother the cat as revenge for scaring away a potential meal.

Vipin's ears twitched slightly as he listened to the female, "you think-" Once she had finished her speech, he burst into hysterical laughter. This female thinks I'm going to hunt for her? HAHAHA! The naivety of it all! Poor kid! He gasped for air between laughs while he rolled on the floor. Each time he looked to the female, it only increased his fitting.

Fully stretched out on his side he slowly finished and lay there in a fluster, gaining back his breath. Letting out little laughs ever few moments, his paws curled to his chest in reaction. Letting out a sigh he sat up and glanced back to her with the most serious face he could pull, "no."
